How We Helped a Nonprofit Automate Their Blog Updates

I wanted to share a quick success story that might be helpful for other organizations facing the same challenge.

One of our nonprofit clients was struggling to keep their website updated, especially the blog. They were posting regularly on Facebook but rarely updating their site, even though the website is still one of the most important tools for visibility in search engines and credibility with funders and visitors.

At one point, they even paid us to manually copy all their Facebook posts over to their blog. It was double work and not a sustainable solution.

The Automation Solution

Recently, my son Jake, who is now helping us with automation and systems, researched and set up a tool that solved the problem.

Now, every new Facebook post automatically becomes a blog entry on their WordPress site. No more logging in, no more falling behind, and no more wasted time.

Here is how Jake’s setup works:

  • Watches the client’s existing Facebook Page.

  • Automatically pulls new posts into WordPress as blog entries.

  • Runs silently in the background with zero extra effort from the client.

Why This Matters

This kind of automation is a great fit for:

  • Nonprofits with limited capacity

  • Clients who post actively on Facebook but neglect their websites

  • Organizations that want stronger Google search visibility without extra effort

The result is a fresher website, better SEO, and a stronger online presence, all without adding to the client’s workload.

A Note on Tools

Yes, there are scheduling tools that can cross-post content. But this solution is different because it ensures the website becomes the central hub of content. That way, the organization’s site always reflects the most recent activity and remains a credible resource for funders, partners, and visitors.

Closing Thought

If this sounds like something that could save your team time or improve your online presence, let me know. In some cases, there may even be funding available to cover the cost.

We are happy to provide a quick overview and see if it is a fit for your organization.
