Our Story
Cove Consulting was founded in 2007, at a time when websites were just becoming essential for small businesses and social media was still being called Web 2.0.
We began with WordPress websites and blogging, helping early adopters understand how the web could support their business goals. As digital tools evolved, so did our work.
In the early years, we developed and delivered a digital marketing and technology training program in partnership with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Profit Learn, and Innovation PEI. That program was delivered to hundreds of business owners and organizations across Prince Edward Island, helping people better understand websites, online marketing, and emerging digital tools in a clear, approachable way.
Education, clarity, and confidence have been core to our work ever since.

We brought on Sadman, a full-stack developer and designer whose strengths in clean design and solid development quickly became the backbone of our technical work. His ability to build reliable, professional websites has been central to Cove Consulting for many years.
More recently, we welcomed the next generation to the team. Jake brings a strong background in engineering, systems thinking, and technology implementation. His path started early — learning programming languages as a student and participating in technology programs long before it was common.
That early interest grew into hands-on experience with automation, AI tools, SEO implementation, and workflow streamlining, helping clients connect their websites, marketing tools, and internal systems so things work better together.
Our Team
With nearly two decades of experience, Maureen leads strategy, client relationships, and messaging. Her work focuses on helping organizations clarify what they offer, communicate it clearly, and build digital foundations they can rely on.
Sadman is a full-stack developer responsible for website builds, redesigns, performance, and technical reliability. He ensures sites are secure, scalable, and professionally built — not just visually appealing.
Jake supports Cove Consulting on special projects, including SEO, automation, and systems optimization. With a background in engineering and programming, he’s brought in when focused technical execution is needed to improve performance and reduce manual work.
