Terrilyn Kerr was a natural storyteller whose warmth, wit, and imagination were inspired by the Irish tales of her grandparents. Though she kept journals throughout her life, she didn’t publish her first children’s book until she was 70 — writing The Little Red Marble as a gift for her grandchildren, based on a treasured memory from her own childhood.
