This popped up in my memories this morning and brought back fun memories.
August 6, 2009. Me, posting about “the importance of web presence for a new business.” Social media was still called Web 2.0, and I was working from home when my boys were SMALL.
They soon turn 24 and 27. One is an engineer and just moved into software development. The other is doing a master’s in theology and working at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
I started building websites and doing digital marketing in 2007, so I’ve now watched nearly two decades of web trends arrive, peak, and fade.
And now we fix:
• Sites that won’t load properly
• Infected files
• Projects a developer abandoned halfway
• DIY sites that got stuck
• Logins people lost and gave up on
• Poorly designed sites that need a facelift
• Sites that need new branding and storytelling woven in.
In almost 20 years, we’ve never met a website problem we couldn’t solve. And after all this time, the best storytelling still wins. Still #heretohelp.
